For some, picking out an anniversary gift for a loved one requires little effort. For others, finding the perfect anniversary gift can be downright daunting! Not only must you consider what your S.O. might want –or like, for that matter– but you must also find a card to adequately express your love and appreciation without sounding like a complete stranger.

Quote #1: Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago

Why we love it: Not only is this quote straight out of one of those door-stopper Russian novels, but it deeply suggests that in finding your partner, you’ve also found your soul mate. And honestly, nothing is better than feeling that destiny brought the two of you together.

Why we love it: Marriage is, without question, a lifelong commitment. Marriage is committing to respecting your partner even when times get hard; choosing to love one another when you aren’t lovable; it is allowing space for individual growth while journeying together as a couple. Why we love it: No matter how mundane the day-to-day activities in your life becomes, your relationship with your partner is sacred; it’s special. There are moments only the two of you share and memories only you two have. Your relationship is more intricate, complex, and beautiful than the rest of the world will ever know, and that is what makes it so unique and so special.

“In all the world, there is no love for you like mine.”
Why we love it: Maya Angelou is one of the most celebrated poets of all time, and it’s not hard to see why. By including this quote in your anniversary card, you’re reminding your loved one that there is no one else you’d rather be with than him/her.
